Hotel Description
Our warm comfortable guest house overlooks the beautiful Valley Gardens and is attractively and recently decorated in contemporary style. Free permits are supplied for on-street parking. We are ten minutes' walk from the centre of Harrogate - either through the park or through the streets of the pretty Montpelier Quarter. The Conference and Exhibition Centre Royal Hall Turkish Baths Harrogate Theatre shops and restaurants are all within ten minutes' walk. The railway and bus stations are on the far side of town about 15 minutes' walk away (or a short taxi ride). The Hydro Harrogate's superb swimming pool and fitness suite is a five minute drive away and the lovely town of Knaresborough with its castle perched high above the River Nidd is a ten to fifteen minute drive. Harrogate is a charming and convenient base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales and we will be happy to help with local information and recommendations of places to go and things to see. Please note our cancellation and amendment policy: A clear 48 hours' notice is required of cancellation otherwise the first night for each room booked will be charged in full. We will do our best to accommodate any amendments needed but reserve the right to cancel the entire booking if the required amendment is for fewer nights than the original booking.

Directions to The Dales Guest House Valley Drive
Proceed to the town centre traffic lights with the exhibition hall on your right. Turn left and follow road to the roundabout by the Crown Hotel. Take second exit to Royal Parade with the Crown on your right Old Bell Tavern on left. Then first left up Valley Drive by the side of the park. The Dales is on the left at the top just before small roundabout.
